What material can be used as a washable and reusable kitty litter? I want to scoop the #2 and rinse the urine with a gallon of water which would flow though holes similar to how things are rinsed with a colander. It would have to be something that would not absorb water or at least dry out quickly. And the pieces would have to be no larger than pea size and not to small that they would pass though a tiny hole.

We adopted the kitty when she was a baby, and the doggy a year afterwards; he was already full-grown. The kitty seems to like the dog, and tries to snuggle with him, follows him around the house, and tries to play with his tail. Whenever she gets near him, he growls, and moves. I think he is afraid of her, which is funny because she is just a little kitty and he is an 80 pound dog. How do I get the dog to understand the kitty is a friend?

I recently had to put one of my kitties to rest. He was very ill and I know I did the best thing for him. My remaining kitty keeps calling for his brother and seems depressed. I give him lots of love and extra attention. Is there anything extra I can do for him? It’s so sad listening to him meowl and cry and searching for his missing littermate. I want to thank everyone for their answers so far. Just to clarify for some, both my kitties are/were just 6 years old. they had been together a long time. I don’t know that getting another cat so soon would do the trick for him. I know it would do me good but I don’t think I could do that just yet. Thanks again all.

She does not do it hard because then the kitty would cry. When she is cleaning the baby, she seems to look like she is playing and she goes under the kitty throat. It seems like she is planning to kill it but she doesn’t do it. I don’t know what to think. Is this normal for a cat to do this every-time she cleans the kitty or licks the kitty. The mother is a stray cat. The kitty is now 3 weeks old. RapidFire, that’s funny!
